Vertu Motors - Team Valley Gateshead The Ventures businesses are part of a growing and dynamic division within Vertu Motors plc, (the 4th largest automotive retailer in the UK), encompassing varied businesses such as Ace Parts, The Taxi Centre and Vans Direct. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Accounts Administrator to join our Ventures finance team based in our Head Office in Gateshead. The role will be focussed on providing accounting support to the Ace Parts business. Ace Parts is one of the largest e-commerce suppliers of automotive parts & accessories. The Accounts Administrator will work closely with both the on-site Ace Parts management team (based in Kent), and also the wider Ventures finance team. The role will involve working away for 2-3 days twice a year to assist in the half-yearly on-site parts stock check. We are offering a basic salary up to £23,000 plus company benefits. Your daily duties will include: Overseeing and uploading daily sales/credits Allocating Ebay/Amazon/Paypal/Stripe payments Bank reconciliations All bank posting Credit control Intercompany invoices to email and payment chase Warehouse and return goods stock reconciliations Assisting with half yearly stocktakes Ad hoc duties We are looking for a dynamic, driven and talented individual to join our team and full training and support will be provided. Previous experience within a similar role is preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel is essential.
