Linux / AWS / Kubernetes / Terraform
A leading SaaS company is expanding steadily and creating a new Cloud Infrastructure opportunity. They’re seeking a technically strong, client‑focused Cloud & Devops Engineer with deep expertise in AWS & Linux, to join the team in Manchester.
You’ll take ownership of cloud infrastructure on AWS, Linux OS and CI/CD initiatives, and shape DevOps best practices across the engineering function. This position offers the chance to lead DevOps strategy end‑to‑end while collaborating closely with a highly skilled team of engineers and architects.
You should have experience with:
* Amazon Web Services (AWS) – EC2, EKS, S3, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch (certifications desirable but not essential)
* Terraform for infrastructure‑as‑code, environment provisioning, and repeatable automation
* Kubernetes (preferably EKS), CI/CD pipelines, and GitOps‑style workflows
* Familiarity with Agile delivery practices and collaborating closely with product and engineering teams
Nice to have:
* Experience introducing or scaling DevOps in a growing SaaS/tech organisation
* Background in observability (logging, metrics, tracing) and cost optimisation on AWS
