Financial Controller
We're looking for a highly skilled Financial Controller to lead the Finance team at CCHQ. This senior role is pivotal in ensuring financial integrity, compliance, and strategic support across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and develop a small but high-performing finance team.
* Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with statutory requirements including FRS102, PPERA (2000), VAT, PAYE, and Corporation Tax.
* Oversee robust financial systems for income, payments, and reporting.
* Support the Head of Commercial Projects with commercial negotiations and manage ongoing contractual commitments.
* Support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning.
* Produce timely management accounts and departmental financial performance reports.
* Act as the main contact for external auditors and manage audit processes.
What We're Looking For:
* Qualified Finance professional ACCA / CIMA
* Proven leadership in finance within a complex organisation.
* Strong understanding of UK GAAP, FRS102, and financial compliance.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Experience with financial systems and controls.
