This part-time role offers 30 hours per week and all requests to work flexibly will be considered, allowing for business needs, and reviewed annually.
The post holder will work as part of a multidisciplinary (MDT) primary healthcare team delivering primary and Occupational Healthcare in line with General Medical Council (GMC) Standards to ensure that the organisational and Senior Medical Officer (SMO) objectives are achieved to optimise patient care.
The post holder will support Lossiemouth Medical Centre when required as part of the North of Scotland Combined Medical Practice.
The post holder must maintain registration as a GP with a licence to practice from the GMC of the United Kingdom, undertaking appraisal and required continuous professional development (CPD) to maintain accreditation.
Full clean driving licence or ability to travel between sites.
The duties and responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:
1. Provide general healthcare to all registered patients during normal practice hours.
2. Maximise the levels of health, wellbeing and employability of Service personnel to ensure the needs of the single Services are met.
3. Undertake mandatory medical examinations and provide appropriate occupational healthcare and advice, and all supporting administrative duties.
4. Provide primary care emergency treatment to any patient who may require this within the Establishment.
5. Work in collaboration with all members of the primary healthcare team and line management.
6. Work across all medical centres covered by the practice. Participate and contribute to regular clinical and practice meetings.
