We have a fantastic new job opportunity for an Accounts Assistant / Finance Administrator who has previous industry experience with intermediate Microsoft Excel skills, a high attention to detail and a methodical mindset.
Reporting to the Financial Controller, as the Accounts Assistant / Finance Administrator you will be responsible for the creation of Sales Invoices on SAGE 200, including inputting data into relevant business systems (such as SAGE 200 and the Facilities Management database).
As the Accounts Assistant / Finance Administrator your other responsibilities include monthly reconciliation of the cashbook, including daily postings along with payment run creation and assisting with cashflow forecasting.

DUTIES
Your duties as the Accounts Assistant / Finance Administrator include:
1. Creation of sales invoices on Sage 200
2. Check accuracy of data used to create invoices
3. Administration of the property lease schedule
4. Reconcile and invoice the monthly and quarterly rent and service charges
5. Regular credit control involving contacting customers for payment, dealing with invoice queries in a fast and professional manner
6. Monthly cashbook reconciliations
7. Daily bank transaction processing
8. Payment run creation
9. Cashflow forecasting
10. Monthly sales reporting
11. Monthly debtors reporting
12. Supporting Accounts Payable and assisting the wider finance team with tasks when required
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
13. English and Maths GCSE Grade C / 4/5 or above (or equivalent)
14. AAT Level 2 or above
15. Previous experience in an Accounts Assistant role is desirable with a strong focus on Accounts Receivable, including aged debtor management
16. Experience using SAGE 200
17. Previous Experience of using a Facilities Management database is desirable
18. Strong IT skills
19. Intermediate Excel
20. Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate with financial and non-financial staff at all level
21. Must be driven, inquisitive and capable of working to deadlines
22. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
23. Excellent accuracy and attention to detail
24. Ability to methodically solve routine problems
25. Motivated, eager to learn, and able to manage a varied workload
