Our client are a international facilities management group are looking to recruit a Senior Project Manager to lead and oversee delivery of lifecycle and variation projects across acute hospital PFI sites (Blackburn & Burnley).
Manage, support, and coordinate a team of Project Managers and a Project Coordinator.
Ensure safe, compliant, on‑time, on‑budget delivery of multiple M&E‑heavy projects in a demanding environment.
Duites to include:
* Oversee 3 PMs + 1 Coordinator at Blackburn, and provide oversight for 2 PMs in Burnley.
* Lead high‑value lifecycle works (theatres, wards, chillers, FCUs, AHUs, LV panels, etc.).
* Develop scopes, briefs, costings, programmes and risk assessments.
* Manage full project cycle: design, procurement, PPP documentation, delivery, commissioning & handover.
* Ensure ISO‑compliant documentation and auditable project files.
* Drive contractor performance, ensure compliance with inductions, competence, and site procedures.
* Maintain financial responsibility for circa £10m revenue (per JD).
* Produce regular financial and progress reporting.
* Ensure all KPI/SLA obligations are met and exceeded.
* Promote Health & Safety, behavioural safety, and CDM compliance.
* Work closely with TSMs, Head of Technical (Steve), operations teams and Trust stakeholders.
* Identify opportunities for innovation, efficiency and added value.
* Act as escalation point for delivery issues across both hospital sites.
Candidates must have:
* 5 plus years M&E project management experience
* Expeience of working on PFI Projects in the public sector
* Driving Licence
