Role: MIG Welder
Location: Bootle, L20 4DX
Hours: Choice of rota between 7am-3pm or 9am-5pm
Monday to Friday, Saturday overtime available.
Pay: £ £14.50

We are seeking a self employed skilled MIG Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of various welding techniques and be proficient in using hand and power tools. This role is essential for the fabrication and assembly of metal components, ensuring high-quality standards are met throughout the production process, grinding will be a part of daily duties.
Duties of a MIG Welder:
* Perform MIG welding on various materials, ensuring adherence to specifications and quality standards. Grinding when required.
* Utilise TIG and Stick welding techniques as required for specific projects.
* Fabricate components from sheet metal, following engineering drawings and specifications.
* Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete tasks.
* Conduct assembly of welded parts, ensuring proper fit and alignment.
* Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
* Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve processes.
* Carry out routine maintenance on welding equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Experience of a MIG Welder:
* Proven experience in MIG welding - minimum 1 year, with additional skills in TIG and Stick welding considered advantageous but not essential.
* Strong mechanical knowledge, with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
* Familiarity with fabrication processes and techniques, particularly in sheet metal work.
* Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
* Basic mathematical skills for measurements and calculations related to welding tasks.
