We are looking to recruit an ambitious New Business Manager to join our developing team covering the EX and TQ postcode area. The ideal candidate should be self-motivated with a desire to achieve revenue targets in-line with the company’s strategy. Main Duties & Responsibilities · Identifying, building, and pursuing new business opportunities by ensuring a good prospect funnel to work from · Updating and working with the CRM · Cold calling · Preparing proposals and presentations for new customers · Achieving weekly, periodic and annual targets for growth and retention · Embracing and promoting all new products launched by the company · Monitoring performance of new customers to ensure they trade to agreed profile and new business KPI’s · Monitoring profitability of your portfolio customer base and taking steps to improve where necessary · Contacting existing customers at regular intervals to build solid business relationships and identify additional customer needs and in turn additional revenue streams · Achieving at least 95% retention for account portfolio · Ensuring new and existing customer contact is maintained to ensure that service levels and requirements are being met. · Customer onboarding You will be responsible for new business generation and selling across EX & TQ postcode areas. Personal Specification · Career history with evidence of success in a sales role ideally within the parcel or other service driven industry · Tenacious attitude with a drive to succeed · Outstanding communication, persuading, and influencing skills · High levels of integrity and empathy · Effective problem resolution and objection handling skills · Ability to work under pressure and demonstrate a positive, enthusiastic, and resilient approach · A great team player who is presentable, self-motivated and thrives on exceeding targets · Flexible work attitude · Driving licence valid in the UK Further Information Reporting to: Operations Director Based: Whilst predominantly field based this role will present opportunities for working from any of our sites across Devon and Cornwall. Hours of Work : Monday – Friday, 8:30 -17:00 (40 hours per week) Salary: £32,500 basic with generous commission scheme. Company Car. Holiday Entitlement: 5.6 weeks per year (including Bank Holidays).
