Assistant Director – Repairs & Maintenance Northampton | £80,000 | Full-time | Permanent A leading Northampton based organisation is seeking an experienced Assistant Director of Repairsand Maintenance to lead the delivery of high-quality repairs and maintenance services. This is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing responsive repairs, voids, and cyclical maintenance, while driving service improvement, operational efficiency and excellent customer outcomes. You will lead a large operational service including senior managers and multidisciplinary teams, ensuring services are compliant, high-performing and resident focused.Key Responsibilities
* Provide strategic and operational leadership across repairs, voids and maintenance services
* Lead and develop high-performing teams across operational delivery
* Manage large repairs budgets and ensure value for money
* Oversee contractor performance, procurement and contract management
* Ensure compliance with health & safety, regulatory and statutory requirements
* Monitor performance through KPIs, reporting and service improvement initiatives
* Drive a strong customer-first approach across repairs services
About You
* Senior leadership experience within repairs, property maintenance or social housing
* Strong knowledge of contract management and contractor performance
* Proven experience managing large operational teams and budgets
* Strong understanding of housing repairs, building maintenance and compliance
* Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills
* Full UK Driving licence
