Senior Quantity Surveyor | Super-Prime Residential | Perm or Freelance An opportunity has come about with a well-established contractor delivering high-end residential refurbishments and new builds across Prime Central London, due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured work. Projects are design-led, detail-heavy, and typically involve listed buildings, basements, and complex structural alterations. The Business Specialist contractor operating within the super-prime residential market • Projects across Mayfair, Belgravia, Chelsea, Kensington • Schemes typically £5m–£25m, including cut & carve, basement construction, and high-spec finishes • Strong reputation with private clients, developers, and leading architects • Close-knit, delivery-focused team with repeat business and long-term relationships The Role Full commercial responsibility on super-prime residential schemes • Managing projects from pre-construction through to final account • Procurement of subcontract packages and supply chain management • Running CVRs, cash flow, and cost reporting • Managing variations, change control, and contract administration • Working closely with Project Managers, Directors, and high-end clients What they’re looking for Proven experience as a Senior QS / strong Project QS within a contractor environment • Background delivering high-end residential, refurb, or cut & carve schemes • Comfortable in detail-driven, client-facing environments • Strong understanding of JCT contracts and commercial processes • Someone who takes ownership — able to run jobs, not just report on them Why this role Exposure to some of the most high-spec residential schemes in London • Strong pipeline — genuine long-term work, not a one-job hire • Flexible offering — permanent or freelance considered • Environment where individuals are trusted to take ownership and progress Interested?
