Senior Planner – Cardiff

We’re working with a leading consultancy who are seeking a Senior Planner to join their growing Cardiff team. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in delivering high-profile projects across the region, working with a diverse range of clients across residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments.
The role:
As a Senior Planner, you’ll be responsible for:
1. Managing a variety of planning applications from inception through to determination
2. Preparing and submitting planning statements, policy reviews, and appeals
3. Liaising with clients, local authorities, and stakeholders
4. Supporting junior team members and contributing to business development initiatives
About you:
We’re looking for someone who:
5. Has a degree in Town Planning or a related discipline (MRTPI qualified or working towards it)
6. Possesses strong knowledge of UK planning policy and legislation
7. Has excellent communication and report-writing skills
8. Is confident managing multiple projects and client relationships
