About the Role Our client, a busy and well-established car dealership in Reading, is looking for an experienced Aftersales Manager to lead their Service and Parts operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving aftersales performance, managing a dedicated team, and ensuring the delivery of a first-class customer experience.
Lead and manage the Aftersales department (Service & Parts), ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
Drive departmental performance in line with manufacturer and dealership KPIs (profitability, CSI, labour efficiency, etc.).
Manage, motivate, and develop a high-performing team of Service Advisors, Technicians, and Parts personnel.
Ensure compliance with all manufacturer standards, warranty procedures, and company policies.
Analyse departmental performance, implement improvement strategies, and maximise revenue opportunities.
Maintain a strong focus on customer experience, handling escalations and ensuring customer retention.
Control budgets, costs, and stock management to achieve departmental profitability.
Proven track record in a senior Aftersales role within a franchised car dealership.
Strong leadership and people-management skills with the ability to motivate a team.
Commercially astute with a focus on financial performance and operational efficiency.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Competitive basic salary with OTE of £40,000 – £60,000.
