Detailed job description and main responsibilities
* Support the Associate Director of Workforce and PMO Team in the development and implementation of Workforce Information data to support planning and financial recovery.
* Support and co‑ordinate the Trust's annual workforce planning processes.
* Provide information and respond to data requests from outside bodies including CQC and NHSE and data for external national planning and financial recovery support.
* Undertake projects as directed by the Workforce Team and PMO Team.

Qualifications and Education
Essential criteria
* Educated to degree level in relevant subject or equivalent relevant experience
Desirable criteria
* Workforce Planning related qualification.
Knowledge and Experience
Essential criteria
* Significant experience in a workforce informational role, ideally within the NHS
* Advanced knowledge of workforce systems, including ESR.Allocate
* Previous experience of SQL, dashboard development, designing reports and extracting information from Oracle based systems
* Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, including use of pivot tables and vLookUp functions
* Experience of collating and analysing statistical information and producing written reports and other materials for non‑statistical professionals to aid performance management, business decisions and resources.
* Experience of collaborating with stakeholders to meet current and future needs within the organisational priorities and resources
Desirable criteria
* Understanding of NHS national workforce categorisations and coding
* Experience of using Oracle reporting tools such as ESR BI and reporting tools such as Power BI.
* Workforce planning experience, using a range of workforce planning approaches and tools.
* Experience of development and automation
* Knowledge of NHS Long Term Plan
