Learning Support Assistant The Role
* Provide dedicated support to a sixth-form student with physical disabilities throughout the school day
* Promote independence, confidence and self-advocacy at every opportunity
* Support access to lessons, specialist equipment, assistive technology and the wider school environment
* Assist with mobility around the school site and provide practical physical support where required
* Work closely with teaching staff, therapists and the student's family to ensure consistent support
* When not supporting the student directly, provide additional support across the wider SEND department
