Qualifications, Experience & Skills & Requirements
* Must be experienced using machinery such as vertical/horizontal borers, lathes, and drilling machines.
* Maths and English GCSE grade 4/5 (equivalent to grade C) is preferable but not essential.
* Ensure that the workshop is adequately equipped, and machinery and tools are well maintained through a planned maintenance schedule, ensuring they are safe to use.

Hours of Work
Work hours enable flexitime working, covering a 40-hour week with flexible start and finish times within core hours that must be covered each day. Monday to Thursday involves an 8.5-hour shift with a half-hour unpaid lunch break and a ten-minute paid break in the morning and afternoon. Friday involves a 6-hour shift with no lunch break but includes a twenty-minute paid break.
