Overview
A person based in Watford is seeking a Carer to provide part-time support with household organisation, paperwork, and daily routines. They are autistic and would benefit from assistance to maintain structure, organisation, and day-to-day planning. This role does not involve any personal care.
Location and hours
Location: Watford (WD17). Hours: 3 hours a week. DBS/Checks: Confirmation of DBS check. Right to Work and references will be needed.
Training
* Safeguarding Adults
* Introduction to first aid
* Health and Safety / Moving and handling
What you would be doing
* Helping to organise the home and manage paperwork
* Supporting with general household tasks and tidying
* Assisting with routine management and task prioritisation
* Going through to-do lists and offering reminders when needed
* Providing support with taking medication at the right times
* Occasionally accompanying them into the community, for example to go shopping or run errands

* Organised, patient, and reliable
* Understanding and supportive of autistic individuals
* Able to provide calm, structured guidance and encouragement
* Good at planning, prioritising, and communication
* Capable of working independently while maintaining a person-centred approach
