What you’ll do
* Lead the delivery of moderately complex civil projects, accountable for scope, schedule, budget, and resource management, while ensuring quality and compliance with WSP’s procedures and client requirements.
* Develop project scopes, manage schedules, control budgets, and coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
* Lead stakeholder engagement, managing expectations, and maintaining strong client relationships.
* Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues, maintaining registers and mitigation plans.
* Oversee procurement activities and contract compliance, working within NEC or similar frameworks.
* Ensure deliverables meet agreed quality standards and that reporting requirements are fulfilled.
* Manage project documentation, tracking milestones, resources, and change control.
Your team
You will be part of the Civil team within WSP’s Transport & Infrastructure business unit. You will have access to training and development resources to support your growth and contribute to transforming UK infrastructure. The role supports a flexible working culture with a balance of home and office working, prioritising safety and wellbeing.
Qualifications & Experience
* APM PMQ or equivalent qualification.
* Proven experience delivering projects with accountability for scope, schedule, budget, and resources.
* Understanding of NEC contracts or similar, with experience in contract administration and compliance.
* Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
* Competency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project) and a proactive approach to process improvement.
