As one of the UK’s largest and most respected property services contractors, we’re proud to operate with a family-owned ethos, prioritising fairness, development, and community. Now, we’re inviting a skilled HR professional to join our Head Office team in Airdrie and help shape the future of our workforce.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a trusted partner to managers across the business, you’ll be responsible for delivering proactive, pragmatic, and people-focused HR support. Your day-to-day will include:
* Advising and coaching line managers on a wide range of employee relations matters (disciplinaries, grievances, performance, absence, and ill health)
* Developing manager capability to handle HR issues confidently, consistently, and compliantly
* Driving continuous improvement in HR processes, policies, and best practice
* Supporting the implementation of HR strategies aligned to wider business goals
* Providing commercially sound guidance that balances people and performance
* Promoting a positive, inclusive, and supportive workplace culture
* Ensuring all HR advice is timely, accurate, and legally compliant
What We’re Looking For
We’re after a people-first HR professional who blends expertise with empathy and confidence with care. You’ll bring:
* 10+ years' experience in a generalist HR role
* CIPD qualification (essential)
* Proven experience at HR Advisor level (or above)
* Strong working knowledge of UK employment law and best practices
* Confidence to deliver clear, solution-focused advice across all business levels
* A pragmatic, professional, and approachable style
* Excellent communication skills – written, verbal, and interpersonal
* Exceptional organisation and prioritisation in a fast-paced environment
* A collaborative mindset and strong influencing skills
What You’ll Get in Return
* A competitive salary up to £43,000
* An opportunity for hybrid working
* A stable, full-time permanent role in a respected national company
* Support from a knowledgeable, close-knit HR team
* The opportunity to contribute to real change and development
* A friendly, down-to-earth culture that values integrity, inclusion, and impact
