Our work environment includes:

* Driving: Safely operate a HGV CLASS 2 Vehicle to transport goods/materials to designated locations.
* Loading and Unloading: Load and unload cargo, ensuring items are properly secured for transit.
* Route Planning: Plan efficient routes to minimize delivery time and fuel consumption.
* Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance tasks, such as checking fluid levels and tire pressure.
* Documentation: Maintain accurate delivery records and ensure all necessary paperwork is completed.
* Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, including friendly interactions and timely deliveries.
* Adherence to Regulations: Adhere to traffic laws and regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
Work Experience:
* Previous experience as a HGV driver, preferably with experience driving a HGV Class 2 Vehicle.
* Experience in loading and unloading cargo safely.
* Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.
Skills:
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Problem-solving skills to handle unexpected situations on the road.
* Physical fitness for lifting and moving heavy items.
* Valid driver's license appropriate for the vehicle being driven.
* Additional certifications or training in defensive driving, vehicle maintenance, or logistics is a plus.
