PPA Cover Teacher Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging lessons for classes across various year groups (KS1/KS2) during PPA time.
* Implement effective teaching strategies to ensure continuity of learning and maintain high standards.
* Monitor and assess student progress, offering constructive feedback and guidance.
* Create a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that promotes respect, enthusiasm, and a love for learning.
* Collaborate with classroom teachers and support staff to ensure smooth transitions and effective teaching.
* Maintain clear communication with parents and guardians about student progress.
* Participate in school meetings, professional development opportunities, and any other school-related activities.
PPA Cover Teacher Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Previous experience teaching in a primary school setting, ideally across both KS1 and KS2.
* Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and effective assessment methods.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to adapt teaching to meet diverse learning needs.
* A team-oriented approach and flexibility to work collaboratively in a school environment.
* A commitment to continuous professional development and educational best practices.
