An exciting new opportunity has opened for a Dental receptionist / treatment co-ordinator to join our growing practice in Belmont, Sutton, Surrey

We are seeking a confident and charismatic dental receptionist to play a vital role in the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth operation of the front desk.
Your main role will be to deliver a smooth and welcoming front-of-house experience for every patient.
This role requires strong organisational skills and a keen attention to detail, as you will be responsible for managing appointments, patient records, and general administrative tasks.
Responsibilities
* Managing the front desk: greeting patients, handling calls, bookings, and managing diaries.
* Greet patients warmly as they arrive at the practice and ensure a welcoming atmosphere.
* Delivering a professional, caring, and organised reception service.
* Assisting in explaining treatment plans and finance options to patients when required.
* Liaising with the clinical team to ensure a smooth patient journey.
* Supporting follow-up communication with patients to ensure they feel informed and cared for.
* Handle incoming calls and respond to patient inquiries with professionalism and care.
* Process patient payments and manage billing inquiries efficiently.
* Acting as the first point of contact for patient queries.
* Uphold strict confidentiality standards in accordance with data protection regulations.
What we're looking for:
* Has previous experience as a Dental Receptionist (or strong front-of-house experience in healthcare settings) and willing to undergo further training on these roles.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal in-person, on the phone and written, with a strong focus on customer service.
* Communicates clearly, warmly, and professionally with patients and colleagues.
* Has a natural ability to build trust and explain information clearly.
* Proficient in using office software and practice management systems; familiarity with dental software is advantageous.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment.
* Is highly organised, proactive, and detail-driven.
* A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and a willingness to learn new processes.
* Ability to work well as part of a team while also being self-motivated when required.
We are looking for a candidate to join for 2* to 3days.*
