Residential Development Solicitor / Chartered Legal Executive- 2–6 PQE -

We’re partnering with a top-tier international law firm in Birmingham to recruit a Residential Development Solicitor / Chartered Legal Executive (2–6 PQE) to join their team on a hybrid working basis (3 days in the office, 2 days from home).
This is an exceptional opportunity to work alongside leading partners specialising in residential development, collaborating with some of the UK’s largest developers. You’ll be supported through a structured mentoring scheme, with access to continuous training and development. You’ll also gain hands‑on experience in client management and work on an exciting, varied caseload.
Your Role:
* You will be involved in a wide range of high-value transactions, including:
* Acquisition and disposal of land and substantial real estate investment assets, including freehold and leasehold properties, often by way of conditional contracts and including unregistered land.
* Advising on structuring development transactions and drafting heads of terms.
* Pre‑lettings and lettings, as well as sale and leaseback transactions.
* Real estate aspects of financing projects, including Certificates of Title.
* Drafting and negotiating associated property deeds and documents (e.g., agreements for lease/surrender, deeds of variation).
What We’re Looking For:
* 2–6 PQE Residential Development experience.
* Strong technical knowledge of commercial and residential real estate law.
* Ambition, excellent client focus, and a collaborative approach.
* Eagerness to contribute to high‑profile transactions and grow within a supportive team.
