About the Role:
* Teach Chemistry across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, following the national curriculum and exam specifications.
* Design and deliver engaging and interactive lessons that foster a deep understanding of chemical principles.
* Conduct engaging practical experiments and demonstrations to enhance student learning.
* Monitor and assess student progress, providing timely and effective feedback.
* Contribute to the development of departmental resources and initiatives.
* Potential for a TLR for a candidate demonstrating a capacity for leadership and innovation within the department.
* Support the school’s commitment to providing a single sex education that allows girls to excel.
Ideal Candidate:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* In-depth knowledge of Chemistry.
* Enthusiasm for teaching and a commitment to student progress.
* Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
* Ability to create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment.
* Experience in preparing students for GCSE and A-Level Chemistry.
* A dedication to encouraging girls into STEM subjects.
