Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Paint Sprayer to join our client. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, spraying, and finishing vehicles to the highest standards, ensuring a flawless and professional finish.Annual Salary: £30,000 to £35,000 DOEWeekly Hours: 7.30am to 4pm - Mon to FriThis role requires attention to detail, precision, and experience working in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:
* Preparing vehicles for painting, including sanding, masking, and priming surfaces.
* Mixing and matching paint to achieve the correct colour and finish.
* Applying paint using spray guns and other industry-standard techniques.
* Carrying out minor repairs such as filling dents and scratches before painting.
* Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and meets customer expectations.
* Maintaining a clean and safe working environment in line with health and safety regulations.
* Using appropriate PPE and following company procedures to ensure safety.
* Inspecting completed work for quality and making necessary touch-ups.
* Keeping up to date with industry trends and techniques to ensure continuous improvement.
Requirements & Skills:
* Proven experience as a Vehicle Paint Sprayer in an automotive body shop or similar environment.
* Knowledge of different paint types, application methods, and mixing techniques.
* Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
* Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines.
* Strong understanding of health and safety regulations within a workshop environment.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Full UK driving licence (preferred but not essential).
* Relevant qualifications in vehicle refinishing (NVQ, IMI, City & Guilds) (desirable but not essential).
