Our role involves supervising our team of service co-ordinators within our Electrical Department. We are looking for someone who has previously worked within the M&E sector, with a working knowledge of the statutory electrical administration requirements, as well as proven supervisory experience gained within this environment.
Summary of role:
You will be assisting the Electrical Manager in the organisation and day to day smooth running of the Electrical office team’s workload to ensure all operatives and supply chain partners attend residents’ properties on the day and time that are provided to Comserv and/or scheduled by ourselves.
Reporting to the Electrical Manager your duties will include:
* Overseeing the Service Co-ordinators to ensure the office workload is managed in an efficient and timely manner.
* Providing training and support for the service co-ordinators, as well as managing performance and attendance
* Maintaining the On Call rota for Electricians and the escalation rota
* Maintenance and monitoring of data/trackers supporting cyclical and planned projects
* Ensuring all planned training for operatives is logged and any service delivery issues are highlighted to your manager
* Providing reports on work performance and incidents to support personal development plans, investigations or potential HR related matters.
You will also be willing to pitch in with a variety of tasks linked to your job to support your manager, your team, and our client.
Qualifications & Experience:
The ideal candidate will have/be:
* Previous people/team management experience within the M&E sector; demonstrating the ability to identify people strengths & weaknesses and develop and support individuals within the team
* A good understanding of the types of electrical work undertaken within the sector, along with an understanding of HSE requirements
* Excellent organisational/time management skills and a strong desire to get things done within strict timeframes whilst demonstrating attention to detail and accuracy at all times
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a discrete and confidential approach to work
* Advanced Microsoft skills (Excel) and the ability to manage, review and manipulate system data
* Ability to work under pressure to strict deadlines
