PMO Support Office – RAID Specialist contract (DV CLEARED)
Target Start Date: ASAP - urgent requirement
Assignment Length: 6 months contract
Day Rate: £500 per day inside IR35
Clearance Required: DV Clearance (mandatory) – sole UK nationals only
Location: Basingstoke – on-site days required
Working Pattern: Monday–Friday
Overview
We are seeking a PMO Support Office – RAID Specialist to join a rapidly evolving PMO supporting a high‑level government programme. The role requires strong RAID expertise, excellent analytical ability, and the confidence to work with a range of stakeholders in a secure, fast‑moving environment. You will support the delivery of a large programme undergoing significant change, ensuring governance processes are strengthened, RAID frameworks are applied consistently, and reporting remains accurate and insightful.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure accurate tracking, updating, and reporting of all RAID logs and trackers.
Facilitate RAID-focused workshops, brainstorming sessions, and stakeholder discussions.
Assess risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies, evaluating likelihood, impact, and criticality.
Apply consistent RAID management standards across the portfolio in alignment with governance frameworks.
Identify and implement process improvements, including enhanced tooling (e.g., Jira, Excel).
Produce and deliver professional RAID dashboards, governance packs, and reports for senior forums.
Provide RAID subject‑matter support to programme and PMO colleagues.
Support broader PMO activities in alignment with the PMO Charter.
Operate to the highest security and confidentiality standards.
Key Skills & Experience
Strong experience managing RAID within complex or high‑security programmes.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present complex information.
Clear, confident written and verbal communication.
Proven stakeholder management capability.
High attention to detail and accuracy in reporting.
Strong proficiency with Excel and SharePoint; Jira experience beneficial.
Ability to work under pressure in fast‑paced and evolving programme environments.
