Are you a high-performing teacher feeling restricted by the rigid structures of mainstream education? We are looking for pedagogical experts to join a brand-new specialist academy opening in late 2026.

This isn’t just a teaching job; it’s a career-defining opportunity to join a founding team of 72-capacity SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) specialists. If you are fascinated by the "why" behind student behaviour and want the autonomy to design a curriculum that actually works for neurodivergent learners, this is your next step.

The Mission: Advanced Pedagogy

We are moving away from "one-size-fits-all" schooling. Your role will involve:

* Subject Leadership: Taking the lead on a specific curriculum area to ensure academic rigour within a specialist setting.

* Behavioural Analysis: Utilising trauma-informed practices and ASC-specific strategies to unlock learning potential in students aged 5-19.

* Evidence-Based Practice: Working within a multi-disciplinary framework alongside clinicians and therapists to deliver measurable student outcomes.

* Team Management: Supervising and developing a dedicated team of support staff to maintain a high-performance classroom culture.

The Professional Profile

We are seeking high-calibre educators who possess:

* QTS & Academic Rigour: A strong teaching background with the ability to adapt the National Curriculum for complex learners.

* Specialist Interest: While prior SEN experience is a significant advantage, we welcome Mainstream Teachers with a proven track record of exceptional behaviour management and differentiated instruction.

* Strategic Thinking: Experience in thematic curriculum development and data-driven progress monitoring.

* Resilience: The emotional intelligence and professional "grit" required to lead in a brand-new, evolving environment.
