Salary/Benefits: £33,048 - £38,169 per annum (DOE and qualifications), plus up to £3,000 market supplement for suitable candidates. Benefits include 45 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays, Teacher's Pension Scheme, retail and leisure discounts, and excellent professional development opportunities, including access to further college courses. About the Role
Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a well-established Further Education provider to recruit a Lecturer in English to join a thriving English & Maths department.

Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging, inclusive English lessons across a range of levels, supporting learner progress and achievement.
* Contribute to curriculum design, innovation, and quality improvement, ensuring alignment with national priorities and learner/employer needs.
* Provide academic tutorials, constructive feedback, and pastoral support to encourage positive behaviour, attendance, and independent learning.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues and external partners, promoting safeguarding, equality, diversity and inclusion, and health & safety.
* Maintain up-to-date teaching practice, support colleagues where appropriate, and contribute to wider organisational initiatives.
About You
We are seeking a passionate English specialist who is committed to delivering high-quality teaching and supporting a diverse cohort of learners.
Essential Requirements
* A degree or Level 5 qualification in English
* A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE/CertEd), or willingness to work towards one
* GCSE English and Maths (Grade 4/C or above)
Experience & Skills
* Recent experience teaching GCSE English
* Strong understanding of FE sector requirements, including safeguarding
* Excellent communication, classroom management, and organisational skills
* Confident in using Microsoft 365 and digital learning platforms
