About the role We're looking for an experienced, hands-on Factory Manager to lead from the front at one of our 2 Sisters Food Group sites. This is a highly visible, shop-floor-based role, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment and believes that great leadership starts where the work happens. You'll spend around half of your day in the production area, building strong relationships, setting standards, and being a clear, approachable presence for the team. While there is an element of paperwork and reporting, this is very much a role for someone who prefers walkarounds to desk work. Key responsibilities Be a strong, visible presence on the shop floor, leading by example and supporting teams in real time Carry out daily morning walkarounds to ensure plans are set correctly and production is running as expected Work closely with department managers, attending meetings and reviewing data to drive performance and continuous improvement Take ownership of KPIs, providing daily feedback and ensuring performance is tracked, understood, and acted upon Balance day-to-day operational management with forward planning, including trials, staffing requirements, and upcoming challenges Lead and develop an experienced management team, with a strong focus on coaching, succession planning, and bringing people forward Proactively manage issues and "firefighting" while maintaining standards around safety, quality, and efficiency What we're looking for Proven experience in a factory or manufacturing leadership role (food manufacturing preferred) A hands-on, people-focused leadership style - comfortable being visible and accessible on the shop floor Strong understanding of KPI-driven environments and performance management Ability to balance operational detail with longer-term planning Confident communicator who can work effectively across departments and management levels Why Join Us?
