TeacherActive is thrilled to be working with a Primary School located in Hengoed. The Primary School encourage their children to think for themselves, placing emphasis on problem solving, decision making and becoming independent learners. The school are active upon fostering strong relationships with pupils and their families so they can work together to pave the way for every child.
The Primary School is looking to take on a highly experienced Teaching Assistant who is ready for a challenge. The successful applicant will be working with children that have emotional, learning and behavioural difficulties in the learning support class. This role will be paramount in supporting pupils develop their learning and confidence daily on a temporary basis and will be a great opportunity to build your skillset and CV.
The successful Teaching Assistant / TA will have:
* Minimum Level 2 Teaching Assistant / TA qualification
* Experience working one to one with pupils with Additional Learning Needs / ALN
* TEAM teach qualified is a preference but not required
* Excellent classroom management
