Multi Skilled Engineer – Food Manufacturer
Location: Whitley
Salary: £39,000 to £45,700 + Pension + Overtime
First 12 weeks will work M-F 8am-5pm then it will be.
Week 1 - 6am-3pm - Mon-Fri.
Week 2 10am-7pm - Tues-Fri & 8am-5pm Saturday.

Key Skills
* Apprentice Trained Engineer in Mechanical or Electrical
* Experience of PLC Systems & Automated Machinery
* Understanding of PPM Systems
The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of day-to-day engineering and maintenance activities ensuring work is carried out to the highest standards and maximizing machine efficiencies. This will be a reactive and a proactive maintenance role, working to and carrying out the monthly PPM work. You will have served a minimum of a full apprenticeship in electrical or mechanical engineering, also mechanical work including fitting and fabrication, also have experience working within planned and preventative maintenance schedules, project based work within a high speed automated environment. There will be lots of fast moving machinery such as flow wrappers and labelling machines, together with packaging and conveyor systems. There is a huge amount of training on offer so the successful candidate will be in line to broaden their skills considerably.
