Key Responsibilities:
Designing, implementing, and managing IT infrastructure solutions
Ensuring the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of the in-house information systems
Conducting regular system performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimisation
Providing technical guidance and support to internal teams and stakeholders
Implementing security measures and compliance policies for IT systems
Leading infrastructure projects from conception through to completion
Monitoring network performance and troubleshooting issues as they arise
Documenting infrastructure changes and maintaining up-to-date technical documentation
Job Requirements:
Extensive experience in IT infrastructure within the Defence & Security sector
Strong understanding of network and server hardware, software, and virtualisation
Proficiency in system and network administration, including backup and recovery processes
Experience with infrastructure security and compliance best practices
Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
Excellent communication skills and capability to collaborate effectively
Relevant technical qualifications in IT or a related discipline
