Lead Delivery Manager | Competitive salary | Hybrid | Manchester or London
About the Role
SR2 are partnering with a growing digital consultancy who’ve recently secured several major public sector projects - and they’re looking for an experienced Lead Delivery Manager to help shape and drive delivery excellence across their portfolio.
You’ll be responsible for end-to-end delivery of large-scale, complex solutions - from SOW creation and bid writing through to delivery execution. Working closely with cross-functional teams of engineers, architects, and stakeholders, you’ll ensure every project is delivered smoothly, efficiently, and to the highest standard.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives on collaboration, knows how to balance people and process, and has the confidence to lead delivery from the front.
Key Requirements
* Strong experience delivering complex, enterprise-level technical solutions
* Strong technical acumen with the ability to engage confidently with engineering teams
* Proven track record working within the public sector (essential)
* Experience managing the full delivery lifecycle, including SOWs, governance, budgets, resourcing, and risk
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* A collaborative, people-first approach to leadership
* Experience in Line-management roles is essential
* GDS exposure
Nice to Have
* Experience delivering Agile projects in regulated or enterprise environments
* Background in consultancy or client-facing project delivery
