Edu Talent Agency has a fantastic Primary School School who is looking for a Learning Support Assistant to work within KS1 in September 2024.
The SEN School is based in the borough of Bromley and has a GOOD Ofsted rating. They have a fantastic SLT, who value themselves as working as part of a team and pride themselves on being supportive.
They are looking for supportive, dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistants to work along side the class Teacher and support the students either one 1-1 basis or within groups within the class.
Below are also some of the things you may do throughout your day:
1. Getting the classroom ready for lessons and clearing away afterwards to maintain a safe and clean environment
2. Assisting Teachers in preparing the lesson materials and school equipment
3. Recording and reporting a pupil’s progress to the Teacher
4. Helping pupils stay focused during class hours
5. Supervising group activities, sports events and school outings
6. Helping teachers manage student behaviour
7. Looking after children who are unwell or upset
8. Providing a healthy and safe learning environment for children
Experience not necessary but if you have experience in working with pupils with any of the additional needs below that would be valuable.

The working hours are 8:30am to 16:00pm with an hours lunch break.
DBS on the update service required and Safeguarding course level 2 must be completed before considered for the role.
