Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated Youth Worker to support young people in a Secondary SEMH provision for ages 13-21 in Leigh (WN7).

Role Overview:
* Provide pastoral and emotional support to young people with SEMH needs
* Build positive relationships to promote confidence, resilience, and engagement
* Support students in developing life skills, social skills, and emotional regulation
* Facilitate group activities and 1:1 mentoring sessions
* Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and behaviour teams to support holistic student wellbeing
* Assist with transition planning and preparing young people for adulthood

Candidate Requirements:
* Experience working with young people, ideally in SEMH or similar settings
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Empathetic, patient, and approachable manner
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures
* Commitment to empowering vulnerable young people
