* Assist in the preparation, cooking and serving of all food and snacks.
* Maintain accurate records of food supplies, and freezer/fridge temperatures.
* Perform all aspects of kitchen duties as directed.
* Ensure all crockery and equipment is cleaned and stored appropriately, and that the overall cleaning of the kitchen area is carried out effectively.
* Report to the Cook/Nurse Manager, any faulty appliances, damaged equipment or any potential hazard.
* Promote safe working practice in the kitchen. Comply with Health & Safety and Hygiene Regulations.
* Ensure that all personal information relating to residents remains confidential.
* Participate in staff meetings and mandatory training as required.
* Be kind and courteous to all service users of the home, providing the necessary assistance and responding to enquiries where required
* Promote and ensure the good reputation of Wood Green Care Home at all times.
* Treat all service users, colleagues and other third parties in and/or associated with the Home with dignity and respect at all times
