We are looking for a creative and positive person to join our team!
You'll have
Previous experience in a café, restaurant, or hospitality setting
Strong leadership and communication skills
A passion for great food and creating memorable experiences
The ability to work flexibly, including weekends and during peak visitor periods
Confidence working in a kitchen environment, including basic food preparation
Ability to communicate effectively in English
Satisfactory DBS check
What youll be responsible for Reporting to the Café Manager, youll oversee the day-to-day running of our café, ensuring smooth operations, excellent customer service, and a welcoming atmosphere for visitors and colleagues alike. This is a hands-on role where youll lead by example, supporting the team to deliver high-quality food and drink in a friendly, efficient manner both front of house and in the kitchen.
What youll do
Supervise café staff, ensuring high standards of service and food presentation.
Work alongside the kitchen team to prepare and serve food to agreed standards.
Manage daily operations, including stock control, hygiene checks, and cash handling.
Support the Café Manager with scheduling, training, and team development.
Maintain a positive, inclusive environment for both guests and team members.
Uphold health and safety standards and compliance with food regulations.

Working pattern
Weekly hours: 37 hours per week worked over 5 days
Typical shift patterns: either 8.30am-4.30pm or 10am-6.30pm (flexibility is considered)
