Urgent Primary Care Doctor – (Face to Face)
The Role
Urgent care is where your clinical judgement matters most. It’s fast, varied, and genuinely impactful work. This role is primarily face‑to‑face, based in urgent care settings such as Urgent Treatment Centres (UTCs) and home visiting services, with opportunities to work remotely through Clinical Assessment Services (CAS).
What you’ll focus on
* Deliver high‑quality face‑to‑face care – assess and manage patients across urgent care settings.
* Make confident, timely decisions – prioritise clinical need and decide the appropriate care pathway.
* Use your full clinical skillset – opportunities in CAS for telephone triage.
* Work with multidisciplinary teams – collaborate with NHS 111, ambulance services and acute trusts.
* Develop your clinical interests – opportunities in frailty, end‑of‑life care, paediatrics, and complex acute presentations.
* Progress your career – pathways into senior roles such as Clinical Navigator.
Flexibility that works for you
Structured face‑to‑face base working as part of the rota, with opportunities to take additional shifts across CAS and UCCH environments.

Location
Essex – Basildon, Broomfield or Thurrock. Face‑to‑face base working with opportunities for remote shifts.
