Ludlow Farmshop supports traditional production methods, with six departments making great tasting products, such as cheese, ice cream, coffee, pastries, cakes, biscuits, jams and pickles, as well as a famous Butchery department. Using as much produce from our own estate, we also support other local suppliers, who have the same ethos as us. We are looking for Seasonal Bakery Assistants to join our small team, who produce award winning biscuits, cakes & pastries. We sell over 25,000 mince pies a year, all of which are made by hand, that is why our customers love them so much You must be the type of person who doesn't want to settle for second best, take the upmost pride in your work.
The main purpose of this role will be to support the production of our Christmas products, from Mince Pies, to Christmas Puddings, Fruit Cakes and Christmas Biscuits. Attention to detail is essential, as we follow strict recipes to ensure the product is consistently good and as well as maintaining strict hygiene standards.
Position will suit students, as you will be required to work Saturdays and Sundays and hopefully one other day in the week. This is not essential.
