The purpose of this role is to encourage residents to maintain their well-being and independence and to support the delivery of high quality, safe and value for money housing management services that meet customer and organisational objectives.
Responsibilities
* Supporting residents by providing information to promote independence, good health and wellbeing
* Completing mandatory compliance tasks along with health and safety checks
* Reporting and monitoring repairs to conclusion, ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed
* Delivering high quality customer service by resolving problems and complaints
* Providing administrative support, including maintaining accurate records in a timely manner
* Completing Sign Ups, Terminations, Settling in Visits
* Covering other schemes as and when required
Qualifications
* Numeracy and literacy to the equivalent of GCSE Grade C or above in English and Maths
* Proven experience of working with older people and understanding their individual needs or similar
* Working knowledge of good practice resident involvement or customer participation activities and practices
* Ability to work alone and manage workloads to meet deadlines
* Working knowledge of handling confidential and sensitive information
* Good interpersonal and customer care skills
* Proficient user of Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and Outlook
* Travel is a requirement of the role, therefore a full valid driving licence is essential
Salary and Hours
£21,132 - £21,785 per year (A 1 bedroom flat is provided) 30 hours per week - 8am to 3:30pm. The full time equivalent salary for this role is £26,415 based on 37.5 hours per week rising to £27,736 after 12 months of service and subject to satisfactory performance.
