We know that life can be complicated for everybody. But some of us are stopped from working towards our dreams. Many learning disabled people wont be heard about the support theyd like. Some wont get to decide what they do for work. Or how to spend or save their money. Many won't get to try out the new hobbies theyd love to try.

But you can change all that.

What we offer you

1. Where youll be working: Harwell, Oxfordshire.
2. Your salary: £ per hour.
3. Your working hours: A mixture of early, late and overnight shifts, including some weekends. If you are interested in Sleep ins we will pay you £54 per shift plus over 12% holiday pay.
4. Generous Holidays: 33 days of annual leave (including eight days statutory bank holidays).
5. Pay incentives: 10% overtime allowance, 20% Bank Holiday allowance, 50% for key dates over Christmas.
6. Training & development: Earn money while you get a fully funded Level 2 Diploma in Health & Social Care.

What youll be doing

The people we support have complex needs, and you will be expected to assist in the following:

8. Manual Handling This includes supporting with hoists and wheelchairs.

9. Full + Intimate Personal Care Assisting people in using the toilet, bathing, and dressing.

10. Supporting people with late stage Dementia diagnoses, people with Epilepsy and people that have high physical and sensory needs. You will also be supporting people that have Dysphagia and physical impairments.

11. Supporting people in eating and drinking, all aspects of home security, finances, housekeeping, and any healthcare needs taking medication.

12. Supporting people to go out into the community. This may include: Searching for and creating fun things for people to do, using both public transport (Buses) and the car/s to travel into the community; and walking to planned activities and events.

Public transport to our service here is limited, therefore, a valid driving licence and access to a vehicle is desirable.
