Job Title: Midweight creative strategist

Location: Bournemouth (on site)

Hours: Full time – 37.5 hours per week

Who we’re looking for

We’re looking for a Midweight creative strategist - a hungry, emerging creative strategist with a sharp eye for culturally relevant ideas and a drive to keep pushing forward. You’re curious to the core, tuned into the world around you, and ready to turn that curiosity into smart, simple, compelling brand thinking.


You’ll shape insight-led strategies and campaigns grounded in real-world behaviour, bringing clarity and direction to the work - and playing an active role in creative ideation, helping turn sharp thinking into culturally relevant ideas. You know how to get under the skin of a brief, and you’re just as comfortable contributing ideas as you are helping refine and land them. You’ll push teams to think differently, while staying hands-on — sleeves rolled up, fully in it.

What we’re looking for

· A sharp ability to interrogate client briefs, diagnosing the real business problem, constraints, and success measures before work begins.

· Strong strategic thinking, building clear, evidence-led direction from brand, audience behaviour, category dynamics, and cultural insight.

· Experience applying behavioural science to shape propositions, messaging, choice architecture, and activation mechanics.

· The instinct to define a single-minded strategic thought that inspires creative teams and gives them confident guardrails.

· Confidence leading activation planning and channel strategy across in-store, retail experience, digital, experiential, and on-trade.

· Skill in creating comms journeys - audience, role of channels, journey, triggers, barriers, and proof points.

· A talent for crafting and presenting compelling strategic narratives - from insight to idea to activation plan - in a way that lands with clients.

· Collaborative working style, partnering closely with account and creative teams to steer work through feedback, trade-offs, and stakeholder complexity.

· A test-and-learn mindset, building measurement and learning plans that define what success looks like and how insights will inform future work.


You should apply if you have…

* 2+ years agency strategy experience
* A natural flair for creative ideation - spotting opportunities and turning them into ideas that cut through culture
* A grasp of behavioural science and how to apply it practically
* Some shopper marketing and retail experience - understanding path-to-purchase, in-store decision moments, and retailer realities
* Below-the-line experience (promotions, POS, field, experiential, CRM/direct where relevant)
* Multi-platform thinking - can orchestrate touchpoints into a coherent experience and clear channel roles
* Confident workshop, writing and presentation skills - able to tell a strategic story crisply and persuasively
* Appreciation of consumer brands and curiosity into what makes them successful
* An aptitude for storytelling and an open mind and curious nature
* An active voice when participating in team brainstorms
* An ear to the ground on all things consumer, culture and category relevant
* Some experience with facilitating category safaris in the on and off trade
* Skills to write clear and compelling brand platforms, taglines, manifestos and stories; and create competitor analyses to inform brand plans
