MUST HAVE STEEL EXPERIENCE Pay: £15.50-£20.00 per hour Job description: Job Title: Class 2 HGV Driver (Local Work Steel Loads) Location: Central Belt, Scotland (working near gas plants) Job Type: Temp-to-Perm (Full-time potential after 12 weeks) Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and reliable Class 2 HGV Driver to join our team in the Central Belt. This role involves transporting steel loads ranging from 20T to 25T from facilities across the region. Youll be working near gas plants, so a strong commitment to safety is essential. This is a local driving role, and the ideal candidate will have experience operating flatbed vehicles and be committed to punctual, professional service. Key Duties: Operate Class 2 moving structural steel beams. lorries to safely transport steel materials (20T25T loads). Conduct thorough pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle and load safety. Load and unload steel products, securing all items properly. Maintain accurate logs and delivery documentation. Follow all road safety regulations and site protocols, especially around gas plants. Liaise professionally with dispatchers and clients regarding deliveries. Represent the company with professionalism at each drop-off.
