The Role
Are you passionate about developing the next generation of football talent? The Football Education team at Manchester City Football Club is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Part Time Football Coach to inspire and support young players on their football journey. This role includes a contractual guarantee of 18 hours per week and a fantastic opportunity to be part of a world-leading football organisation, delivering high-quality coaching sessions that reflect the values and methodology of our global football network.
Your Impact
1. To ensure the Manchester City coaching philosophy, methodology and principles are incorporated into the delivery of the UK programs.
2. To plan, prepare and deliver the city play model curriculum to the highest standard.
3. To support the UK Program Coordinator in ensuring the program is delivered to the highest possible standards within both on and off field environments.
4. To be responsible for the written and verbal communication with parents/customers of the players – being the point of contact for parent communication and queries, registers, session timings.
5. To complete term and player reports, liaising with the Coach Delivery Manager in ensuring the QA of the program.
6. To learn, develop and implement understanding of the program and coaching techniques through continuous professional development.
What we are looking for
7. UEFA B Coaching Licence or equivalent (or working towards).
8. Ability to create and maintain a positive, professional environment that reflects Manchester City values at the City Football Academy.

10. Strong organisational and administrative skills, including preparing and recording program documentation.
11. Effective problem-solver with creativity in developing and improving programs.

14. Understanding of player pathways and individual player development processes.
15. Experience organising, delivering, and developing different types of football programs.
16. Proven experience creating positive football environments across community, junior, and elite programs.
17. Experience coaching players across grassroots to team play, with the ability to develop players of all abilities.
18. Confident and professional in presentation both on and off the field.
