What you'll be doing:
To organise and supervise the unit in accordance with the standards required by Compass Group UK & Ireland, the contract specification, and statutory regulations. Responsible for the overall efficient management of the unit, providing a quality service. Oversee the preparation, cooking, and service of food to standards and specifications. Ensure the efficient use of resources, including stock, team members, and assets.

Key responsibilities include:
* Provide guidance and strategic management of the business through your team.
* Previous contract catering experience.
* Communicate, motivate, and guide your management team and catering staff daily. Set clear responsibilities and monitor performance.
* Take responsibility for food and health & safety procedures.
* Communicate regularly with the client.
* Complete action plans based on customer satisfaction surveys.
* Promote the unit and act as a Compass Group advocate.
* Manage internal and external stakeholders effectively.
* Ensure all client hospitality meets standards and seek feedback.
* Identify opportunities to enhance services and discuss improvements with your line manager.
* Bring innovation and flair.
* Operate within the budget, monitor trends, and implement corrective actions if necessary.
* Deliver customer requirements in line with expectations.
