This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a brand new supported living service in Sandwich, where we have high expectations for our staff. You will receive comprehensive training locally before you start supporting individuals. Shift Patterns This is a 24-hour service, so flexibility is key! You’ll work a variety of shifts, including nights and weekends, with options to discuss flexible arrangements like nights only or part-time hours.
Your Role and Responsibilities
What You’ll Do: Be patient, understanding, and confident in your approach. Communicate mindfully, ensuring honesty and consistency. Support individuals in living fulfilling lives. Collaborate with specialists in multi-disciplinary teams, including Occupational Therapists and Social Workers. While your primary focus may be on one individual, you may occasionally support others in need. Rest assured, you will receive the necessary training to provide effective support to everyone in our care. This flexible approach fosters a collaborative, team-focused, and person-centered environment, ensuring everyone receives the care they deserve.
