A leading Financial Services organisation is seeking an experienced IT Category Manager to join their Procurement team on a fixed-term basis (9-12 months). The role is based in Surrey on a flexible hybrid basis (2/3 days on site per week), and you will have the opportunity to manage and implement the UK technology procurement strategy.
Your new role
As an IT Category Manager, you will work to support initiatives such as software,munications, SaaS, digital data and cloud migration. Key duties include but are not limited to:
1. Collaborating with internal stakeholders to assess business requirements
2. Build and deliver the IT category strategy
3. Negotiate and implement contracts to ensurepliance
What you'll need to succeed
4. Recent experience in IT category management
5. CIPS qualification is desirable
6. Strongmunicator
7. An understanding of FCA/ PRA regulations would be beneficial

8. Salary of £75,000-£85,000 dependent on experience
