Overview
I’m currently working for a well-established Public Sector business of over 15 years who are looking for a Commercial Manager to lead and implement the procurement strategy across the group. This is a growing, customer-driven business and you will play a key part in delivering a value-for-money service to new and existing clients. The role is based in High Wycombe and requires office working twice a week.
Responsibilities
* Lead and implement the procurement strategy across the group.
* Oversee all customer projects, contracts, tendering processes, and contract extensions.
* Lead a small team and collaborate with the Procurement & Contracts team.
* Ensure value-for-money service delivery to clients, with strong stakeholder engagement.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of procurement legislation and financial regulations.
Qualifications / Experience
* Prior experience in Public Sector or Customer Service industries.
* Expert at leading procurement projects and managing tender processes.
* Experience overseeing contracts including extensions; strong stakeholder management.
* Excellent financial acumen with a focus on driving savings.
* Knowledge of procurement legislation and financial regulations.
* Line management experience and ability to lead a small team.
* Ideally member of CIPS or willingness to apply.
* Confident IT and communication skills.
