Salary: Basic £24,000 + Commission OTE £30,000

NXT is seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Internal Sales Executive on behalf of our award-winning client in Carlisle.
As an Internal Sales Executive, you will be the first point of contact for our valued customers, providing expert advice and exceptional service. Your knowledge of industrial products, combined with your outstanding interpersonal skills, will ensure that our customers receive the assistance they need to make informed purchasing decisions. You will also be responsible for seeking new business opportunities and introducing yourself to new potential customers.
Responsibilities:
1. Engaging with customers in a friendly and professional manner on the telephone, understanding their requirements and providing tailored solutions
2. Deliver outstanding customer service at all times, ensuring customer satisfaction and building long-lasting relationships
3. Developing a deep understanding of the wide range of products and staying up to date with the latest industry trends and product developments
4. Sharing your knowledge and expertise with customers to help them make informed choices
5. Assisting customers with product selection, pricing, and availability
6. Processing sales orders accurately and efficiently on the system and liaising with the warehouse team
7. Collaborating with the teams in sales and the warehouse to meet sales targets and contribute to the overall success of the business and assisting in the warehouse when needed
8. Proactively engaging with existing and potential customers to identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling
9. Nurturing relationships with key clients and maintaining regular contact to understand their evolving needs
Skills and Experience:
10. Previous experience in a sales or customer service role, preferably selling on the telephone
11. Knowledge of hardware products, power tools, industrial equipment, or construction supplies is advantageous
12. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
13. Ability to engage and build rapport with customers, understanding their requirements and effectively conveying product information
14. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism and empathy
15. Results-oriented with a proven track record in achieving sales targets
16. Comfortable with sales processes and techniques, actively seeking opportunities to upsell and cross-sell
17. Able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced sales environment
