Base Location: UK Wide, with occasional visits to Watford

Why Join KPMG as an In-House Tax Compliance Assistant Manager?
We are looking to recruit an assistant manager for our in-house Tax team responsible for:
* Delivering KPMG’s corporate and partnership tax filings
* Advising on UK tax compliance matters
The successful candidate will demonstrate UK tax compliance experience, ability to work under tight deadlines, handle large data volumes, and oversee team members' work. Confidentiality and collaboration with other tax professionals are essential to providing efficient tax compliance services.
Responsibilities:
* Preparation of tax computations for group corporates using Alphatax
* Reviewing income and expenses GL codes for tax-sensitive balances
* Reviewing tax accounting entries and tax notes in financial statements
* Preparing and reviewing deferred tax calculations
* Ensuring deadlines are met and reviewing team analysis
* Updating tax computations for legislative changes
* Researching technical issues and consulting specialists
* Preparing technical notes for tax computations
* Working on Country by Country reporting, Corporate Interest Restriction calculations, CFC assessments, and Loss Reforms
* Assisting with overseas tax returns (experience not required)
* Calculating and managing tax payments and interest
* Improving internal processes and controls
* Supporting HMRC inquiries
Requirements:
* Minimum 2 years of practical UK partnership or corporate tax experience
* Ability to build and maintain stakeholder relationships
* Strong analytical, investigative, and commercial skills
* Excellent Excel skills
* Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
